Borussia Dortmund have sacked head coach Nuri Sahin following Tuesday’s 2-1 Champions League loss at Bologna, citing a “loss of faith” in him. Dortmund, who were beaten finalists in the competition last season, have now suffered four consecutive defeats in all competitions. In the Bundesliga, Dortmund currently sit 10th, 20 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
